This was fun. I would prefer an option for a different control scheme, though, such as having the attack buttons on Z and X.

I've tried to play the game on day one but it gave every time this error. Today I tried to reload page every time the error appeared and after some attempt the game decided to run. I use Chrome as browser, can this be the problem because I see other comments have not encounter this problem.

Sorry to here that the game doesn't work for you...
We also use Chrome and can't reproduce the error.
I added an Windows build if you still want to play it. 

I've made an edit to the comment and now the game also starts in the web version. Anyway thank you very much for uploading a download version I always prefer it just because I had similar problems with other games before.

I agree with some of the other comments about the uncharged attacks, I think they could be sped up a bit to be made more useful.

I also think it would be helpful to have an indicator for enemies that are off screen, since they can charge at you while you can't see them,  forcing you to kite them towards the center of the screen to be able to see and hit them. Or maybe only allow them to charge at you while visible on screen.


And again, seconding reducing the speed boost granted when an item is picked up, since it just ends up hindering the controls in most cases.


But the music and SFX in game is great, and its got solid foundation to build into a great bullet hell/touhou style game, nice job for only having two weeks!

Thank you for playing our game! We buffed the uncharged attacks and reduced the item effects.

And I agree with the indicator for enemies, that would be a good addition :D

Nice little game, even if it's a bit flawed:
- Biboo's attacks are very bad. The normal one is too weak for the basic monsters, the charge is too slow and short ranged, the ultimate hits only close to you.
- you should remove or reduce the speed change for healing items, they just mess up the gameplay
- the boss's vortex spell can't be easily avoided, because the dmg box extends outside the sprite
Anyway, good attempt for only a 2 weeks time.

Thanks for the feedback! 
- We increased the speed & dmg of the light attack and fixed the ultimate. The pebbles spawn random but now should cover the whole screen. The heavy attack is intended as a risky but powerful melee attack.
- We also reduced the effect of the healing items
And at last the vortexes is something we'll look into after the jam :)

Very cute game :D The sprites are very nice, I like the change when the player gets to low health. The only thing I'd change is removing the acceleration for movement , since that really works against the player in a bullet hell. Otherwise nice job :D

Very fun! The spritework is lovely and it's a short and sweet experience. The only criticism I'd give is that the basic attack is slow, short ranged and weak that there is legitimately no reason for one to use it over the charged heavy attack, which doesn't need to travel distance and insta-kills anything that isn't the final boss. Other than that, pretty fun!

Glad you liked it! We adjusted the speed & dmg of the light attack slightly to make it more usable :)
